About is a simple but yet powerful auto webpage and profile extension for Joomla 3+. With About you can create an automatic webpages/profiles for your users in your joomla powered websites. About is packed with many features.,its lightweight and easy to configure. It supports Search Engine Friendly URLs and comes with built-in search functionality.
Minimum Requirements
Joomla version: Any of the latest releases of Joomla 3.
PHP version: 5.2.9 or above.
MySQL version: 5.0 or above.
GD PHP Library, Curl PHP Library
PHP Memory Limit: 32 MB.
Maximum Execution Time: 30 seconds.
Recommended Requirements:

To install About 1.0:
- Login to Joomla administrator control panel
- Go to Extensions > Manage
- Click on Upload Package File
- Select the zip file of the extension and click on
Upload & Install
After installation assign a menu to the About extension:
To work properly you have to assigned a menu item to About auto webpage profile. Otherwise Joomla can't route on correct menu item for profile pages.
Configuration of component:
Go to component > About and there you will see the setting for it.
This option will show if you are in the About standar alone version or cb community version, but if you are in jomwall, easysocial and jomsocial you wont need as gallery will be exported from the latest images
1. On your Page scroll down until you see Gallery
2. Beside the title Gallery you will see the edit Icon
3. Click on the Icon
4. A box will appear
5. Inside the box click or drop images on text that reads Drop files to Upload
6. Choose your image and Click Open
7. You will see the image uploading animation
7. The page will reload with the new images added to your page gallery
1. On your Web Page scroll down until you see Services section
2. Beside title Services you will see a Circular Icon
3. Click on this Icon
4. A box will appear
5. Click on image you wish to use
6. The page will reload and the Image will appear in the background section of Services
Note: "You have to have images uploaded in your gallery to be able to pick background images"
1. On your Page scroll down until you see Services
2. Beside the title Services you will see two Icons
3. Click on the square Icon with the pencil
4. A text box will appears
5. Type in your test
6. Click Save
1. login to you account
2. go to edit profile
3. Scroll down the Edit page, You will see the titles Edit Your Profile, User About Profile and User Profile
4. enter your information in the field that you want to display in your webpage
5. Press submit

2. go to edit profile
3. Scroll down the Edit page until you see About Me
4. Type in your text
5. Press SUBMIT

2. go to edit profile
3. Scroll down the Edit page until you see the title cover image
4. Click to choose your cover image
5. Press submit

3. Scroll down the Edit page until you see the title Avatar
4. Click to choose your image
5. Press submit
